It was late and as usual nothing was on...but wait!
OBC rocks.

I first saw OBC when my UPN afil. merged with WB and became an RTN station instead. Not sure the first film, but loved the whole hepcat setting.
(I was able to see a few episodes of Madd Frank, from Minneapolis before.) Although I have been watching repeats, I think the newest show was from 2003, "The Magic Sword". It has been fun to see the evolution
of the show and the different cast members. The on-location remotes
are pretty cool too. As for me, name's Steve, Oregon native and BIG drive-in fan. I hear the Transit in Buffalo is a happenin' place. _________________ Long live those drive-in nights ! |

Just caught my first OBC flick. 1963's The Crawling Hand. Loved the concept, never heard of OBC before. Clips were taped in 1997 (the credits said). Can't wait to see more. WBPNR ch. 200 Sault Ste Marie Michigan. I'd like to hear from some northern Michiganders! |

Comcast just picked up RTN7 a couple weeks ago here in (METRO)Detroit. I saw it and was, like, frickin' Christmas again! I seriously thought OBC was a local production (maybe Royal Oak, Birmingham, or Ann Arbor). First caught it this past weekend when they showed "Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter". I wish I was stoned then. lol. BTW, is there any way I can see the footage of when Barenaked Ladies were on? That would be great! I licked the rabbit ears of my neighbor's black and white 13 incher and watched TV through her open window from a stolen 20 foot ladder. It was a good show. _________________ My dreams need me more than I need my dreams. |

I slept it off for the entire day in my neighbor's linen drawer. Thursday is 'change the linens day' in her house. She asked me what I was doing in her linen drawer. I told her I was waiting for "Quincy" to start. She told me the show didn't come on until Saturday and asked me to come back then. She promises Sanka and those little thumb-print cookies. I think she likes me. She went for the 600-count sheets. The ones with pictures of Barney Rubble on them. _________________ My dreams need me more than I need my dreams. |

as did I and going to tout it to net friends worldwide. Check out www.zomboo.com for the Nevada version of the Sattiday Nite Horror choices. If you are in Buffalo or nearby, 9 p.m. in NY is 6 p.m. NV. so delighted with the OBC classics available on site, will refer more Nevadans to OBC. |

I caught the episode when OBC aired "The Nevada Buckaroo" 1931 (B&W) starring Bob Steele. He gets caught up in a stage robbery and has to be bailed out by the gang. The guy who played Ivan the bartender had only one name listed in the credits-'Maxwell'. I would watch this one again. Only this time, with it out. _________________ My dreams need me more than I need my dreams. |
