Last nights Show, Ron Howards dad

I think that was Ron Howards dad acting as the sherrifs deputy last night on land of the giants, or what ever it was called.. He always plays bit parts.

You are correct. Rance Howard was in lots of movies, always as some bit player.

Ron Howard's mom is in a lot of movies too. My favorite is when she throws herself down Tony Curtis' stairs in "The Manitou".

She seems to have been an old lady forever.
Poe Man Poe

It just wouldn't rain in P-town last night. I begged and beseeched the gods for relief from the New Orleans-type heat/humidity, but none was forthcoming. Fu*k me. Out of boredom, I decided it was time to visit the cemetery on Churchview and disinter the remains of Tince Howard (second cousin of Rance) just for kicks. The guy got buried wearing a watch. C'mon. It's not like he needs to know. What a prick. At least I'll be on time when Pat puts the key in the door of the local beverage establishment each morning. I don't like to let life cut into my drinkin' time

Poonce Howard. I don't now. Not a good stage name. He's in town doing the Chuck E CHeese circuit. I might go.
