Your Favourite Horro Flick Youwatch on Halloween

What's your fav. horror flick that you watch on Halloween?
Rosemary's Baby? Excorcist? Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolfman
or your choice?

All of the above are great selections for Halloween viewing. One of my favorites has always been "She Bites Her Own Nips" (1958) B&W starring Babs Billingsley as Nips and Dwight Frye as Stavin' Shane, the cook at Otto's Shank Emporium. The acting is rather sophmoric, but the cinematography is outstanding, as well as the music, especially the title song, "She Only Had Nips and a Bad Habit", done-up nicely by Ted Sheent and the Sheenters.  I give this one a 4 outts 5. I'll be putting it in the VHS this Halloween. I'll be watching the movie, as well. With popcorn and narcotics at the ready.

This year we watched "Noodles' Big Day" which still gives me the runs.  Terror by the bucket as Noodles shills for a small-town politico.  Buttons?  I got yer buttons, boy-o.  Classic.

"Flushie Takes An Enema" (1955) B&W starring June Lockhart and Wally Cox in the title role. Flushie gets an enema but can't keep it to himself. Lockhart shines as Flushie's alcoholic mother who cajoles  him into a fancy colonic at the age of 35 when he should have had an enema much earlier in his life.  This apparent lack of verisimilitude doesn't really bog-down the plot as much as one might expect, however, I just couldn't get it out of my head that this slatternly puss of a man had eluded a good enema for most of his life. C'mon. Everyone enjoys a soothing enema. I give it a 3 outta 5.

I trust you have received the invitation to next year's Halloween Extravaganza and Slap-a-Whore Competition to be held at my house. Several representatives of the Jasper, Wyoming Caruso Appreciation Society have already secured their reservations and have indicated their specific preference for having a room next to yours.

What could be better than the original "The Haunting" with Julie Harris and Clair Bloom? I think that this one was the best haunted house movie ever made.

Excellent choice. Especially for Halloween. I need to get a copy of this one.
